Professional Development for the Orchestral Clarinetist

Intensive workshop designed for the professional clarinetist on how to sustain a high standard of playing and a fulfilling life in the orchestral environment. Open discussion will be guided by Michael Wayne with special guest Ben Freimuth. Topics to include fundamental routines, equipment, teaching concepts, and work/life balance.

How to apply:
No audition is required, but admittance is contingent upon résumé review. To apply, please send a current copy of your résumé to the Summer@Eastman office. We will contact you when your résumé has been reviewed.

Housing and meals are not included in course tuition. On-campus student housing at the Eastman Student Living Center is available for an additional fee of $84/night, which includes 3 meals daily in the Dining Center. Participants staying off-campus may also purchase individual meals at the Dining Center. Information about housing and area hotels can be found here.
