Professional Orchestral Auditions – An Online Workshop for Clarinetists

This online program will focus on orchestral audition preparation and execution for the advanced student and professional clarinetist. The 3-day course will consist of two 2-hour sessions per day that will cover standard orchestral repertoire, preparation routines, warm-ups, fundamentals, and equipment. Sessions led by Michael Wayne will include 1st, 2nd, and Eb clarinet repertoire; Ben Freimuth will lead sessions for bass clarinet.

The program is designed for advanced college students and professional clarinetists.

No audition is required, but admittance is contingent upon résumé review. To apply, please send a current copy of your résumé to the Summer@Eastman office. You may email your résumé to us at: or upload it to Summer@Eastman’s secure online dropbox. You do not need to submit an audition or provide letters of recommendation. Résumés will be accepted through June 15, 2020; decisions will be announced after that date. We will contact you when your résumé has been reviewed.
