Eastman Summer’s 2025 program will feature programs for instrumentalists, conductors, and educators from high school and up through June 30th to August 1st, 2025.
Eastman Summer offers high-level students a diverse, individualized, and elite music education experience through the Eastman School of Music. Explore the excitement and rigor of a conservatory setting with week-long institutes devoted to your instrument or specialties, as well as collegiate classes in Music Education, Music History, Music Leadership, and Music Theory.
Eastman Summer will offer students a unique way to experience a day in the life at Eastman School of Music. You’ll meet people with similar interests, pursue your passions, and learn more about performance and musicianship.

1- or 2-week Institutes
- 1-week institutes include flute, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, tuba & euphonium, horn, organ, choral conducting, music cognition, and music preservation.
- 2- week institutes include jazz studies for high school students.
- Personalized lessons and group masterclasses
- Classes focusing on instrument technique, fundamentals, repertoire, and musicianship
