PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE REGISTERING:

  • The Eastman School of Music currently requires proof of COVID vaccination (2nd dose of Pfizer, Moderna or 1st dose of J&J/Janssen vaccines) for all registered students. As of April 6, 2022, booster shots are no longer required.
  • Masking is currently required in all indoor spaces on the Eastman campus; everyone must wear a non-cloth mask (N95, KN94, surgical mask, etc.) at all times. The one exception is for professionally-made masks for musicians, which may continue to be used when performing.
  • Due to COVID-19 restrictions for Summer 2022, on-campus housing and meals at the Eastman Student Living Center will only be available to high school students age 15-17 years old. All collegiate and adult participants will be responsible for their own off-campus lodging and meals.
  • COVID-19 safety policies and protocols are subject to change; we will update this page as new information is received.

TRAVEL AND IMMIGRATION DOCUMENTATION

International students are responsible for securing all needed travel and US immigration documents in order to enter the country and participate in Summer@Eastman programs. Generally, for short-term learning programs or summer camps, travel as a visitor will be sufficient. In consultation with the University of Rochester’s International Services Office (ISO), we understand that you will likely need to have a B-2 visitor visa for tourism or register for the Visa Waiver Program (if eligible). More information is available through the US Department of State: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit.html.

HEALTH INSURANCE

International and non-US citizens participating in Summer@Eastman programs are required to have health insurance. Short-term health insurance may be available through Seven Corners, Inbound Guest: www.sevencorners.com.
