Meals in Rochester

Food/restaurant information for students staying in off-campus housing

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ!

Eastman’s Student Living Center will be completely closed for renovations during Summer 2024; on-campus housing and dining will not be available. All participants will need to make their own arrangements for housing and meals.

Grocery stores

Rochester has several supermarkets, including Wegmans, Aldi, Tops, Trader Joe’s, and Whole Foods, but students should note that the neighborhood immediately around Eastman does not have a grocery store within easy walking distance: the nearest Wegmans is approximately two miles away. A car, public transportation, taxi, or rideshare service will be needed to get to a grocery store if you plan to stay downtown.
