Eastman Summer Saxophone Institute

July 26-August 2, 2020 / Sunday-Sunday, 9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.

Come join us for a taste of the Eastman saxophone experience in this one-week intensive program, hosted by Professor Chien-Kwan Lin of the award-winning Eastman saxophone studio. Program emphasis will be performance-oriented, structured around private lessons and master classes in both solo and chamber settings. All private lessons will be taught personally by Professor Lin. Exceptional high-school and collegiate students are encouraged to apply.

This course pairs well with the Eastman Saxophone Project (ESP) Institute; students may register to attend both institutes together if approved.

Participant Solo Concert: Saturday, August 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Hatch Recital Hall 
Participant Chamber Music Concert: Sunday, August 2 at 11:00 a.m. in Hatch Recital Hall 

HOUSING INFORMATION

Housing and meals are not included in course tuition. On-campus student housing at the Eastman Student Living Center is available for an additional fee of $84/night, which includes 3 meals daily in the Dining Center. Participants staying off-campus may also purchase individual meals at the Dining Center. Information about housing and area hotels can be found here.

Last scheduled activity: Participant Concert, Sunday, August 2, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
