Summertime is the perfect time to begin and Eastman is the right place for you!
The core of all serious music study consists of private lessons on your instrument, voice, composition or jazz improvisation. At Eastman Community Music School, we have students of all ages and all levels from beginner to advanced.
Individual lessons involve working one-on-one with a teacher, typically on a weekly basis. Lessons can be done either in person or virtually. Click here to register for individual lessons by July 1.
Indicate voice or the instrument you wish to study. If you have a preference, you may request a specific teacher or simply indicate “Instructor” (the teachers with extensive experience) or “Intern” (grad students at Eastman School of Music). Please indicate as many available times as possible.
Click here for all our individual lesson offerings and clickable bios for each instructor or intern. Not all instructors and interns are available to teach during the summer, but the ECMS office strives to connect students with teachers that match their preferences and availability.
